Nestled in Tanzania’s largest park, the Ruaha National Park, Kwihala Camp offers unparalleled access to the area's diverse biomes, including the Mbagi Forest and its resulting biodiversity. Guests can witness East Africa’s largest variety of bird species or go on a game drive and look out for big cats and abundant buffaloes and elephants. Guests can also explore the area on a walking safari, night game drive, photographic safari, or go stargazing under the African skies before returning to the warm ambience of the safari tents. Kwihala also has various sustainable initiatives, including the Hehe cultural experience, involvement in the Southern Tanzania Elephant Program and the camp's preservation of the Usangu Wetlands.
Each secluded Guest Tent overlooks the Mwagusi Sand River and features either a king-sized or 2 twin beds, with the option to include a third on request. The tents also feature an en-suite bathroom with a safari bucket shower, a seating area and a writing desk.
