Kenya is a unique country with amazing geography, including the Great Rift Valley, beautiful beaches, snow-capped mountains, famed wildlife reserves, avian-abundant lakes and spectacular rivers. It is home to the semi-nomadic Maasai people and the celebrated Masai Mara, where the spectacular wildebeest migration takes place every year. The country has 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and more than 50 national parks, not to mention Mt Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa. Kenya is known for its vibrant culture, with colourful traditional costumes and music. It is also renowned for its cuisine, which is a delicious combination of African, Middle Eastern and Indian flavours.

Best time to go to Kenya
The best time to visit Kenya is during the dry season, which typically runs from July to October. During this time, the game viewing is excellent, as animals tend to stay near water sources. This is also the ideal time to witness the wildebeest migration in the Maasai Mara. Temperatures are cooler during the dry season and coastal areas offer pleasant sunny weather. However, December to March is also an ideal time to visit; during this time there is a proliferation of baby animals and increased predator activity as well as migratory bird-watching opportunities. However, heavy rains between March and May can make road travel difficult.
