Keetmanshoop is part of a semi-arid area with long, hot summers and short, mild winters. If you want to avoid the scorching heat, then the months of May to August will be the best time to go. The warmest months are from November to March but this is also the rainier period for this area. The following months (April to October) bring the dry season with almost no rainfall.
