Best time to go to
The dry season is by far the most popular time to venture to the Serengeti to witness the Great Migration from late June to October. During the drier months, the bush is also less dense and animals flock to remaining water sources. However, the wet season – November to May – also holds its share of wonders with lush landscapes, vibrant birdlife and baby animals, not to mention far fewer crowds. These rainer months also come with increased predator activity, which results in thrilling wildlife encounters.
