Located in one of Botswana’s largest privately-owned conservancies is the remote Deception Valley Lodge, a luxury Kalahari escape offering unique and unforgettable wildlife and cultural experiences. The lodge sits on a tremendous 43.000 ha of pristine bushveld at the northeastern section of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, which is home to a milieu of iconic game such as the black-maned lion, oryx, brown hyena, and cheetah. The lodge offers a range of exciting activities ranging from stargazing to walking safaris with San guides and game drives — as well as fantastic ‘bush cuisine’ and plenty of vegan options. The lodge also has an on-site garden, solar systems, an anti-poaching unit, and is actively creating wildlife corridors.
