Ngala Safari Lodge is a quintessential luxury safari lodge that shares unfenced borders with the famous Kruger National Park. It offers everything from a secluded starry treehouse sleepout experience and a traditional open-air boma to spacious thatched bar, dining and sitting areas. The Ngala Private Game Reserve allows its guests to explore 14.700 ha of natural land unrestricted, allowing for night drives, going off-road with a sensitive approach, and joining guided bush walks in an area without roads or vehicles. Along with community upliftment and sustainable practices, Ngala also contributes to SANParks’ conservation and anti-poaching initiatives and collaborates with WWF SA and the SANParks Trust to expand biodiverse regions in South Africa.

The Cottages emanate a grand and timeless atmosphere and feature nostalgic safari pieces. Each cottage offers air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom featuring an indoor and outdoor shower, 2 hand basins, a toilet, and a tub. Each cottage also has a veranda with lounge chairs that are perfect for relaxing surrounded by nature.
Family Cottage
The Family Cottages comprise 2 suites connected by a door for convenience and can comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 children. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of sunlight, while the private veranda is perfect for intimate dinners. The units have a safari-inspired style and offer roomy en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers.
Family Suite
The Family Suite offers 2 en-suite bedrooms, a dining area, butler services, a ranger and tracker team, and a private safari vehicle. Situated next to the Maponi River, the rooms have private decks with river views and accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. The suite also includes a full-sized private swimming pool.
